Are we already at the end of week twelve? This year is flying by. This week has mostly been spent sorting out the garage. I was doing great until I got so angry at all the shit we have (seriously, four big boxes of computer cables – why???) that I copped a strop and haven’t touched another box since Thursday. Unfortunately for me, that’s where my craft space is, so I had to clean that up a bit so I [...]

Time for part two of our easter rabbit patterns, this time for the knitters! Knitted Bunny by Jackie – Awesome pattern for beginner knitters, it’s a square of stockinette stitch sewn in just the right way to create the bunny shape. Knitted Bunny Booties from Woman’s Weekly – Good old WW brings out another great pattern, these are sized for 3 month and 6 month old babes. Honey Bunny by Yvonne – A more traditional rabbit in a sweet little [...]

Easter is coming, which means we all have an excuse to make bunny plushies to stuff into Easter baskets. Below are some of my favourite bunny patterns and tutorials for you to sew up. Wabbit by Yoonie – Great twist on the more traditional rabbits you’d find in Easter hampers, I can really see this softie becoming my son’s favourite very quickly. Chibi Bunny by My Little Mochi – Awesome details with the embroidery, and I really like the touch [...]

I’ve just stumbled onto the site and work of Barcelona based Artist, Alex Noriega, via SwissMiss, and I’m fairly certain I made an audible “squee”. Beautiful drawings, ranging from simple comic strips to highly detailed inked landscapes. I love this “If I Was A Bunny” print. You can see more of Alex’s work at his blog, Alex Noriega’s Sketchbook.

Hi, I'm FernHi, I'm Fern and CraftBlog is my online home. I live in NSW with my husband and three sons, and spend every moment of my free time with my head buried in some form of creativity. In fact, I've never met a craft I didn't like, although I think I've tried a fair few that probably weren't too keen on me. Want to know more?
