I’m sure everyone on the internet is familiar with Knock Off Wood and Ana White’s meteoric rise to fame. But as far as I’m concerned, furniture is just the begining, knock of clothes, knock off food, if it’s there then we can add a handmade twist on it and know that we’re not about to be ripped off by a company charging $50 for something when it cost them $2.50.

*jumps off of her soapbox*

Anyway, check out this awesome t-shirt remix from Kasia at Dream Home, she spotted a lovely tshirt in the Garnet Hill catalouge, baulked (quite rightly so) at paying $44 for it, and so fashioned her own knock off, which looks just as good, and cost a mere fraction of the price.

Read the full tutorial as to how you can create your own tshirt.

  1. What a gorgeous shirt. You go girl! This reminds me of the clothing my best friend and I made when we were in 8th grade, out of a bag of ladies’ slips and t-shirts that my great aunt had given me. We dared each other to wear them out to the ice cream truck when it came by. Sadly for us, our skills were not on par with this example.

Hi, I'm FernHi, I'm Fern and CraftBlog is my online home. I live in NSW with my husband and three sons, and spend every moment of my free time with my head buried in some form of creativity. In fact, I've never met a craft I didn't like, although I think I've tried a fair few that probably weren't too keen on me. Want to know more?
