Not a huge post, but I wanted to update everyone and say that I am finally back online, woohoo! My life has entered its own little personal hell, in the last two months (personal blog post here if anyone is interested) but now I have the interwebs and connections to all my online friends and of course online fabric shopping so things are looking up a bit.

Welcome back, just read a few lines from your personal blog. My Gawd Girl,,,,,,,,,,,,what god brings us too, he shall bring us through. I am kinda jealous of the bump on your head… my best friend had a sinus surgery that revealed a hole in her skull where her brain was protruding through. I guess that explained the spinal fluid draining through her sinuses! Anyway… I didn’t make a big deal of it all. …just told her it was her way of trying to steal all of the attention from our mutual friends. At any rate, Dr’s removed the top half of her face, or merely pulled it up over the top half of her skull so as to have a better look see at the the protruding brain matter coming out of the hole in her skull. They did remove the protruding part of the brain and set some kind of mesh over the the hole so as to prevent the mishap from happening again. Really the only thing that struck me as abnormal about the whole thing,(besides the fact that she was a walking medical marvel), was the fact that the only thing she couldn’t remember, after all was said and done…..was what the hell she had broccoli for. I mean she called and asked me, what do I have this broccoli for in my refrigerator?. At which time I replied : well to eat it, of course. and she says to me: why would I want to eat it? I said because it is your favorite food! I was completely baffled! So then she said: because you are my best friend I have no choice but to believe you , so how can I prepare it? I mean really… we had so many tupperware parties, and home interior decorating parties, and god knows what other parties we had together with the traditional veggie platter, with ranch dressing, and always broccoli, never without broccoli! I was crushed, my friend just was not right with herself. But I love her still and she is ok otherwise. and so shall you be, with or with out your bump on your head. Any way….welcome back! Deb
